The flowing
hair, the downcast gaze, and the sand streaming down through
the fingers all create a continuous movement. It is the movement
of being wasted, being subject to the forces of gravity and time.
Now imagine
my hand, the hand of the creator, hovering over the head. This
figure is streaming down through my fingers, in much the same
way as sand is streaming down her fingers.
